About
Software built by someone who knows the closing table.
Our founder
Our Founder & CEO
Our Founder & CEO built The Closing Atelier™ after nearly 30 years around Illinois real estate transactions.
Over those years, in roles that included paralegal and title company work and investing in property, our Founder & CEO saw closings from many sides. One lesson stayed: most of the stress in a transaction doesn't come from the deal itself. It comes from not knowing what happens next.
That is why The Closing Atelier exists. Every client gets a clear, private view of their closing, every agent gets one calm place to run it, and nobody has to chase anybody for an update. The company builds and supports the software; it does not advise on transactions.

Why "atelier"
A closing, crafted with care.
An atelier is a workshop where skilled hands finish fine work with care. That is how we think a closing should feel: personal, precise and handled with elegance, from the accepted offer to the keys.
What we stand for
Connect. Collaborate. Consult.
Connect.
One private place for you and your clients, with every milestone of the closing team in view.
Collaborate.
A shared timeline, documents and updates, so everyone moves together.
Consult.
White-glove onboarding and product support from a team that knows Illinois closings. We help you use the software; your attorney and broker advise on the deal.
Our “Consult” promise means white-glove onboarding and product support for the software. We do not advise on transactions, contracts, negotiations or legal questions; your broker and attorney do.
Not a real estate brokerage
The Closing Atelier is not a real estate brokerage and does not perform any activity that requires a real estate license. We do not list, show, market or negotiate property, give opinions of value, or receive any fee tied to a transaction or referral. Each agent who uses the app, and that agent’s sponsoring brokerage, remains fully responsible for their services, advice, advertising, records and compliance with the Illinois Real Estate License Act and brokerage policies. The Closing Atelier is software owned by The Closing Atelier, LLC (formation pending), based in Palos Hills, Illinois, and is not affiliated with any brokerage.
Fair housing
The Closing Atelier supports the Fair Housing Act and the Illinois Human Rights Act. Our software is built to help agents serve every client equally. We do not allow our tools to be used to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), disability, familial status, national origin or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. Agents remain responsible for their own fair housing compliance.
